Shipping policy
At Back Mountain Microgreens, we are committed to providing timely and fresh deliveries to our customers. We fulfill orders within the state of Pennsylvania. Below is information regarding when and how order will be fulfilled:
Order Receipt Cutoff
Orders for fresh microgreens must be submitted by Thursday morning at 8:00 AM to be included in the delivery schedule for that Friday. Orders can be placed online, via email, or by phone or text. Please note that order fulfillment is subject to product availability, as we prioritize freshness and quality in every harvest.
Holiday Operations Policy
Local Delivery Policy
Below is our local delivery policy, including contingencies for inclement weather. Local deliveries are offered, free of charge, for locations within 25 miles of our Dallas Grow Room. Eligibility for free, local delivery is determined based on the delivery address zip code at the time of checkout. If "Local Delivery" is not visible as a shipping option on checkout, the delivery address may be more than 25 miles from our Grow Room.
Regular Delivery Schedule

Delivery Day: All local deliveries are made on Fridays between 9:00 AM and 5:00 PM.

Fair Weather Policy: In fair weather, deliveries will proceed as scheduled.
Inclement Weather Policy
In the event of inclement weather, we will adapt our delivery schedule and process as follows:

If We Attempt Delivery and the Location is Closed:

We will first look for a secure location to leave the cooler bag. If a secure location is found, we will leave the delivery there and notify you via text.

If we are unable to find a secure location, we will take the delivery back with us and immediately contact you via text to reschedule.

Rescheduling Deliveries:

If a delivery cannot be made due to closures or other weather-related issues, we will reschedule deliveries for Saturday, weather permitting.

We will communicate with you via text to arrange a new delivery and ensure your order is received as promptly as possible.

Customer Responsibilities

Accurate Contact Information: Please ensure that your contact details are up to date so we can notify you of any changes or issues with delivery.

Safe Delivery Locations: If you have specific instructions for secure delivery locations, please share them with us in advance.
We appreciate your understanding and cooperation as we strive to provide you with the freshest microgreens, even in challenging weather conditions!
Risk of Loss
Risk of loss and title (any loss, damage, theft, etc.) for all orders transfer to the customer:
- upon delivery to the provided shipping address/drop-location specified in the order/delivery notes via our free local delivery service.
- for orders shipped via UPS Ground, once the package is tendered for shipment to UPS.
